She is a healthcare cost writer, not a dentist, hygienist, or any other clinician, and nothing she publishes stands in for a chairside exam. Her job is turning published fee data and typical US pricing patterns into ranges you can plan around, and calling out plainly when a question needs a dentist's judgment rather than a number. She covers dental and healthcare pricing across Encore Editorial's network of cost-guide sites.

Chris Terry

Founder and Editor. Chris started Dental Crown Cost as part of the wider Encore Editorial network and holds every guide to the sourcing rules described on our editorial standards page. He does not write or byline the guides himself, that's Naomi's work; his job is oversight, keeping the calculator's assumptions honest and handling reader corrections that reach past routine edits.

Why every guide carries the same byline

Naomi Foster's name is on every cost guide here because she's the one who researched and wrote it. We don't publish under a house name, and we don't invent a "medical review board" to sound more authoritative than the work actually is. If a second writer ever joins this site, you'll see their name attached to what they actually wrote, not folded into an anonymous team credit.
